



The Ministries of Finance, Energy, and Alwatania Energy have signed a Development Agreement for the Klanayeeb Power Plant in Port Sudan.
The agreement will pave the way for the completion of the Klanayeeb power plant, a project that is considered a cornerstone for the Electricity Sector in Sudan.
The power plant will add 330MW to the electricity generation and will contribute to the stabilization of electricity in east Sudan.
Alwatania Participates in the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Groups
Alwatania Energy’s Chairman, Mr. Annas, and General Manager, Mr. Badreldin, participated in the 2023 Annual Meetings of the World Bank Group, representing Sudan’s energy private sector.
Their participation reflects Alwatania’s commitment to engaging with global financial institutions and advancing dialogue on sustainable energy development in Sudan. The meetings provided a valuable platform to explore opportunities for investment, collaboration, and knowledge exchange within the international energy and infrastructure sectors.




Alwatania Discuss Solar Power Solution with Ministry of Energy
Energy Minister Mr. Mohamed Abdallah welcomed Alwatania Energy’s initiative to introduce a solar power plant in Port Sudan and western Sudan. He emphasized the urgency of such projects to address the country’s electricity shortage.
Alwatania reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Renewable Energy Department to advance the project and ensure its timely implementation.
